Amy Whitney
Amy DeLynne Whitney, AKA Anastacia Beaverhausen, grew up in Arizona before moving to Oklahoma when she was just shy of twelve years old. She graduated from Asher High School, known as Baseball City, in 1998. She went on to pursue a degree in Public Relations. She wanted to be a PR manager for a major league baseball team, but as fate would have it, Anastacia Beaverhausen ended up at BVEH-Stephenville in 2007.

Amy and Bruce Tackett have been together since 2007. They have three dogs; Chachi, Batman, and Joni. In her spare time, she likes to watch Bruce rope, tend to her cattle in Oklahoma, and spend time with friends and family.

Amy’s favorite part of working at BVEH-Stephenville is the people (coworkers and clients). Two of her fondest memories are working with Dr. Russell, who retired in 2009, and being apart of the trio that came up with the nickname “Jazzy Chaz” for Charlie. Amy is the Director of Operations and our daily entertainment and is currently taking online veterinary classes.

Missy Sundeen
Missy Sundeen, AKA Misdemeanor, grew up in Richland Hills, Texas. After graduating from Richland Hills High School in 1997, Missy traveled the world as a decorative painter. Missy came to BVEH-Stephenville in 2010 and has enjoyed working here ever since. “Everyone here will help another at the drop of a hat. We all work very well together. You normally don’t see that!”

Missy’s favorite memory of BVEH is the Waco trip with all of the girls from BVEH. Missy met her wife, Sandy, in 2006 and married in 2009. They have a daughter, Britta, who is twelve years old. They also have cats and dogs.

In her spare time, Missy likes to paint, be outdoors, listen to music, go to flea markets, and work out. She also likes to do yard work and entertain her family and friends.

Missy is the laboratory and pharmacy manager for Brazos Valley Equine Hospital in Stephenville, Texas.

Cara Baker
Cara Baker grew up in Burkburnett, Texas where she graduated early from Burkburnett High School in December of 2009. She was accepted into Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas where she majored in Animal Production with an equine emphasis. She graduated from TSU in December of 2013.

Cara got hired on at BVEH-Stephenville in May of 2013 as a veterinary technician. Cara has since been positioned as Hospital Manager.

“Petey”, her Pit Bull, and “Rooster Cogburn”, her Miniature Dachshund are her babies. Cara’s hobbies include riding jumping horses and painting. She loves to spend time with family and friends and travel. Cara has been to Italy, Germany, France, Bahamas, and all around the United States.

Lauren LaMontagne
Lauren LaMontagne grew up in Rutland, Vermont. Her love for rodeo grew her curiosity to get out of her home state. It wasn’t long after that she made the big leap. She was accepted into Tarleton State University in Stephenville and made the big move to Texas shorty after.

Lauren got hired on at BVEH-Stephenville in 2010. She is our Breeding Manager and Technician Manager. Lauren’s favorite part is getting to work with the studs.

Lauren and her long time love, Jorge, have one child together, Julian (5 years old). Together, they also have three Pit Bulls who are nothing but big babies. When Lauren is not spending time with her family, she enjoys barrel racing, dancing, cooking, and working out.

Shane Newson
Shane Newson grew up in the tiny town of Granger, Texas. He graduated from Granger High School in 2009 and went on to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas to pursue his start in veterinary medicine. Shane graduated from TSU with his Bachelor’s in Animal Science/ Pre Vet in May of 2013. In May of 2015, Shane graduated with his Master’s.

Shane got hired on as a veterinary technician at BVEH-Stephenville in 2010.
“Getting to see and participate in the care of neat equine illnesses and injuries” are what interest Shane the most.

In his free time, Shane likes to ride horses, rope, and BBQ.

Angelina Reiners: Laboratory Manager

Angie Reiners is from Corryong, Victoria, Australia. She has attended multiple equine specialty institutions including: Equine Industry at the University of Melbourne, the National Centre of Equine Education, Equine Stud Management, the Irish National Stud Breeding Course, and the Australian Institute of Applied Science. She unique in the fact that she has been blessed with the opportunity to work in multiple countries within the equine and veterinarian industries.

Angie began her trek with BVEH in 2015.

Angie enjoys working out and playing sports like basketball and netball. She recently started learning how to rope, which in her words is quite a change from the cutting pen. However, she still enjoys being a part of, and competing in the cutting horse industry.

Angie’s favorite thing about BVEH is being a part of a workplace that feels like family.

“We are all willing to help each other out, and we all strive for the same success of the business.”

Tyler Trotman/span>
Tyler Trotman, AKA TyTy, was born in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of seven, she moved to Montgomery, Alabama where she graduated from Pike Liberal Arts High School in 2012. Right after high school, Tyler moved to Stephenville, Texas to pursue a career in rodeo.

When Tyler is not working, she spends her time riding her horses. Her ultimate goal is to make a career as a professional barrel racer. Tyler also loves to watch sports. Her favorite sport is basketball. She is a NBA fanatic! Just ask her about the Miami Heat. Her favorite athletes are Dwayne Wade and Stephen Curry.

Tyler began working at BVEH-Stephenville in February 2013 as a tech. After a nine-month absence, Tyler came back to BVEH where she is now the executive assistant of Charlie Buchanan. Tyler enjoys working at BVEH-Stephenville because she loves interacting with people and learning something new everyday. “I am blessed to work for a business where I am happy to go to everyday that doesn’t feel like work.”
